Newsletter for Friday November 1, 2013

While the market's year round location is Cheviot United Methodist Church 3820 Westwood Northern Blvd. 45211, the location at the church varies depending on other activities at the church.  Just follow the happy voices and you'll find us.

THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
This Friday marks the first day of the Winter Market Season, and we have a great lineup of vendors who are eager to supply you with high quality, locally produced food and non food items.  As we've stated in previous newsletters, we have made some changes to this year's Winter Market; therefore, please read the following important information regarding the dates & details:

This Year's Winter Market Dates & Details

This year's Winter Market will have a different format than in the past.  On the following dates, we will have what we are calling Regular Market Days.

Regular Market Dates:  Nov. 1, 15, and 22.  Dec. 6 and 20.  Jan. 3, 17, 31.  Feb. 14 and 28.  March 14 and 28.  April 11 and 25.

On the above dates, market will be held at the regular time of 3:00  -  7:00 P.M.

************************************************************

The following dates will be what we are calling Pre-order Pick Up Days.

Pre-order Pick Up Dates:  Dec. 13 and 27.  Jan. 10 and 24.  Feb. 7 and 21.  March 7 and 21.  April 4 and 18.

How the Pre-order Market works:  On Regular Market Days, you will place your pre orders for perishable items (breads, produce, baked goods, etc.) with vendors who sell those items.  On Pre-order Days you will pick up your items between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 P.M.

As you can see, the Pre-order Pick Up Days do not start until December.  Prior to that date we will include in the newsletter additional information regarding which vendors will be participating, along with further details about pre-ordering, etc.

NOTICES
  • Although Jo the Jam Lady will not be at market for a while, you can purchase her jams from Ora Pottery booth until Jo returns on November 15.
  • Yellow Creek Weavers will not be at market for awhile.  Mari Ann will return on Nov. 22.  That day and through the month of Dec. she will be bringing some special items for purchase, including rug hooking pieces, including a table runner, and a Whimsical Cat.  Sounds fun!

REMINDERS
While some of you are long-time readers of the newsletter, people who are new to the market are reading the newsletter for the first time; therefore, the Reminders section is included each week so new folks can see what's happening around the market and around town.
