THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
This week's spotlight shines on Jenny Kettering, of Angela's Homemade Pies. Jenny started at LEWFM at the beginning of this year's outdoor season and soon became a very popular vendor. Her pies, shortcakes, and cobblers are much sought after, and for good reason. She uses high quality ingredients and adds lots of loving attention as she prepares them.
Jenny also gives attention to the environment in her lineup of products. For example; rather than use aluminum pie plates, Jenny uses reusable glass pie plates and gives the customers a refund when they return them to her.

SEASONAL & CHANGING PRODUCTS/ITEMS
Our Produce & Plant Vendors are currently bringing an array of Spring season produce. Recently we’ve seen salad greens, radishes, mustard greens, green garlic,
garlic scapes, green onions, red romaine lettuce, and mint (great in salads or tea).
Raspberries, sugar snap peas, and beets have also been seen at market lately (in small
quantities). Mother Nature's harvest cannot be perfectly timed, so come to market
ready to be pleasantly surprised to see what each of the vendors have gleaned from
their labors in the fields.
The vendors also bring herbs, both cut and potted; vegetable plants (tomato, pepper, and others as available), and a variety of beautiful potted plant arrangements. You will also find many native plants, such as golden seal, wild ginger, prairie dock, joe pye weed, solomon’s seal, bishops cap, and many more (a total of 23 different species), along with a few varieties of non native outdoor plants (black eyed Susan, lily of the valley, etc), and a few house plants.
For a fuller listing of seasonal produce, visit CORV's Website.
