THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
If you haven't checked out SUMMUH Hummus lately you're missing out on some yummy snacks.  Each week Chef Ethan delights his customers with a wide selection of homemade hummus.  His creativity shines forth not only in the food itself, but in the names he gives his creations.  Ethan also sources many of his ingredients locally, very locally.  It's fun to watch Ethan make the "long" trip across the market to Kate from Carriage House Farm to inquire as to what produce, herbs, and spices she currently has available for him to use in his next batch of yummy hummus.

    LETTUCE LIVE MORE SUSTAINABLY
Our sustainability tip this week comes from an online publication, Examiner.com, and Cincinnati's local reporter on Sustainable Agriculture, Norbert O'Hare.  As the name implies, Mr. O'Hare's column includes articles about using sustainable growing methods.  And yet, he also includes articles that give consumers food for thought, encouraging us to consider how our food purchases affect the environment.  The articles contain a plethora of ideas for both producers and consumers, and that pretty well includes all of us.  You can even subscribe to his column so you can receive a copy of his current article on a regular basis.  To access Mr. O'Hare's column, click here
