THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
This week, we're highlighting Jamie's Rock Art, our newest craft vendor.  Jamie is delightfully creative, and as the picture above shows, the kids have made a new found friend in Jamie.  He might even describe himself as a kid at heart and that might be some of the attraction.  When we asked Jamie to tell us a bit about himself and how he became interested in making art from rocks he offered the following poignant story.
If you've ever been slowed down by the guy (or gal) who's busy looking at the ground instead of the path ahead, you're not alone. I have been doing this to my friends and family my whole life. But now all those stones are what you are seeing in my artwork.

I have spent my life collecting rocks here and there and everywhere. I have collected them for no other reason except that they were pleasing to look at. I have imagined visions with rocks long before I started framing them. I want to share the simple pleasures of the simple stones, and the joy they can bring.

I believe that my artwork will bring much happiness through these simple stories in stone. Each piece of work will be absolutely unique, as no two stones will ever be the same. Each stone has been specially collected for it's individuality of shape, color, size, and overall ability to convey a message.
Jamie's Rock Art certainly makes a one of a kind gift for yourself or others.  You can also choose from his many crystals, which he will make into pieces of jewelry if you would like.  We hope you will stop by his booth to see for yourself the uniqueness of his handy work.  Jamie will be at market on Regular Market Days through the month of December, and at other times in 2014.
