THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET
This Friday is a Pre-order Pick Up Market.  That means that all those who placed a pre-order are to pick up their orders this week between 4:00 and 6:00 P.M.  We thank each of you for your continued support of the market.

NOTE LOCATION:  The Pre-order Pick Up Market will be located in the lounge.  The entrance is on the west side of the building and is accessible through the door where the OFFICE sign is located.

Next week, Friday February 28, 2014 will be a Regular Market Day 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.

NOTICES
PRODUCE VENDOR OPENINGS:  Throughout the Winter we have been busily planning for the upcoming Summer Market.  We already have a couple new vendors lined up to join the market mid March, along with our favorite vendors returning from last summer, when their gardens thaw enough to plant (more on that in future newsletters).  We do, though, have openings for produce vendors.  Please help us spread the word about these openings; and, remember that all produce sold at LEWFM is grown using no synthetic chemicals.

REMINDERS
While some of you are long-time readers of the newsletter, people who are new to the market are reading the newsletter for the first time; therefore, the Reminders section is included each week so new folks can see what's happening around the market and around town.

Time to sign up for the Eating Seasonally CSA.
Are you thinking about what you plan to fix for dinner  - this Summer?  Well, your farmers are and they need to hear from you.  The folks at the Romans Family Farm have been busy making preparations for an abundant harvest this coming season so as to provide customers with fresh, nutrient dense produce.  They are currently perusing the seed catalogs, deciding what seeds and in what quantity to order.  To ensure they order the correct amount, not too little as to run out of your favorite produce items and not too many as to have produce going to waste, they rely on knowing in advance what you, their customers, want.  This means it's that time again:  time to sign up for the Eating Seasonally CSA.

If you are looking for a way to feed your family fresh, nutrient dense produce joining Romans Family Farm Eating Seasonally CSA will fit the bill.  And, all their produce is gown using no synthetic chemicals.

There are so many advantages to belonging to a CSA, for the consumer, the farmer, and the Earth.  If you are new to the concept of a CSA an internet search will provide you with a plethora of information.  To learn more about the Romans Family Farm Eating Seasonally CSA or to sign up (while space is still available) visit the Eating Seasonally CSA Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Eating-Seasonally-CSA/176990062341129
