THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT

We will have pork at LEWFM this Friday. We raise Guinea Hogs, an endangered heritage breed. Our hogs are raised on pasture and are fed Non- GMO grain. No hormones . No antibiotics . Guinea hogs are a smaller breed that chefs rate #1 in taste tests. If you wonder why it is important that farmers raise heritage breeds, Ame will fill you in about this. Also, Ame is a wealth of information about other important aspects of growing sustainably. She loves for customers to inquire; after all, she is a teacher. Fox Run is a production farm and a teaching farm.
For a full listing of our vendors, their products, and services including:
- Kids & Krafts (available starting at 4:45), where the kids can have loads of fun so you can leisurely shop the market
- Many food and non-food items
- and a list of vendors who accept credit cards
NOTICES
- We offer a fond farewell to one of our long time vendors. Joan of Evergreen Holistic Learning Center informed us that due to increased responsibilities at the farm she will not be able to participate in our market this summer. We thank Joan for all the great contributions she made to LEWFM and we wish her all the best in all her future endeavors.
REMINDERS
While some of you are long-time readers of the newsletter, people who are new to the market are reading the newsletter for the first time; therefore, the Reminders section is included each week so new folks can see what's happening around the market and around town.
