Newsletter for Friday September 6, 2013

Some customers have asked us when we will be moving back to Harvest Home Park; therefore, we realize that not everyone has been made aware that we will be staying at Cheviot United Methodist Church throughout the summer.  Please help us spread the word about the market's correct location!

While the market's year round location is Cheviot United Methodist Church 3820 Westwood Northern Blvd. 45211, the location at the church varies depending on other activities at the church and depending on the weather (sunny and warm, we're outside; stormy or cold, we're inside).  Just follow the happy voices and you'll find us.

THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
The smiling face in the picture above belongs to Ora, our potter.  As you can see, Ora is surrounded by her beautiful handcrafted pottery. Ora Studio Pottery offers a variety of bowls, mugs, vases, trays, yarn bowls, etc. from which you can choose, priced to fit everyone's budget.  Customers love her work and they come back often to pick just the perfect item for personal use or as a special gift.

Ora has many years of experience working with clay and exhibiting her creatively made items.  She expresses her talents through various designs of artistic pottery.  When we asked Ora what she likes most about our market she offered the following:

I decide to build up my customers around my home town because I know they always support local artists like me. When time went by, I realized that selling my work at this market was not only trying to make money to cover my expenses but also a way to build up good friendships among my customers and my fellow vendors as well. I like to share and exchange the expertise with them. We like each other. Some of my customers and vendors became good friends. It is an honor to be a vendor at this market.
If you are looking for the perfect one-of-a-kind gift, handcrafted by a local artisan we invite you to stop by Ora's booth.  You will find a booth that is full of beautiful, unique designs of functional and decorative pottery.
